Invest in yourself and learn with me. I am so excited about launching a photography workshop for beginners and embarking into wedding photography. When anyone asks me a question about photography, I love to explain! I have a passion for teaching, training, and developing nurses, and am eager to begin teaching photography too. Can we have some transparency? I am self taught, I do not use big words, I don’t like things complicated, I am not afraid to ask the same question twice, and I believe there are more ways than one to create beautiful images.

Teaching will be held virtually, we dive into ISO, aperture, speed, focusing, composition, lighting and more. Each week, you will anonymously submit an image from the week’s lesson. It will be posted in the group for feedback, I don’t like the word critique, it’s feedback, how do we improve and apply to the next shoot. Mid course and end of course we will have a meet up with a model to shoot with on the spot feedback in the DFW area. We will compare your work from start of class, mid class, and end of class.

Once the first class has been completed, you will have the opportunity to continue learning with me for studio sessions, weddings, Off Camera Flash, and even shadow me to sessions. Yep, you’ll be able to use the images you create to build a portfolio (restrictions apply).
